David wanted to buy a new bike…
He has one already, a Dahon Curve (designed for girls, hehehe).  But it’s only a 3-speed, designed really for commuting only…
Anyway, so today, we went to Metro Oasis, to get his new bike, Onipax. I believe it’s a new brand, but I could be wrong….
So, after getting his new bike, an old friend from the past, Andy, took us on a short trip to Jin-Mei.
I started from my house, to Jet’s house on Ba-De, to Zhong-Shan N. Rd, to Xi Men Ding, to the Botennical garden where Andy lives,
then to the bike path next to Dan-Shui River, to Jin-Mei, then back to NTU – National Taiwan University, had dinner…
Then I rode back home from NTU alone, cuz David took a taxi…
Now I have ass-splitting pain… but it was fun~ other than the part where I rode into a wall of mosquitos…
Good thing I had my mouth closed.. otherwise, I would’ve exceeded my protein intake of the day…
So here are some pics, for complete coverage, refer to my photo albumn 4/16 Cycling…

Lunch

Posted: April 16, 2008 in Food and drink, Just Another Day, Taiwan
Today’s Lunch menu: Okinawa style Ramen
Forgot to take pics of the pkg…
it’s quite yummy actually, it’s fresh noodles sealed in vacum pack, and there is meat…
but I put them in the bowl first, so no meat in the picture.. ginger it did include…
and no, it did not come with the egg, I got it at 7-11, your convenient neighbor.. hehehe
However, if given me enough time, I can make the egg too!!

Sogo

Posted: April 15, 2008 in Just Another Day
Sogo… a legendary department store in TPE…
No matter how bad the economy is, it’s always filled with ppl… not to mention the crazy crowd during anniversary sales…
Anyway, today I went with my mother to pick up a pair of shoes she bought…
Then… I thought I’d pick up a travel size moisturizer cuz mine ran out…
Moisturizer is important for truck drivers like us… especially after getting used to the humid weather in TW…
The dryness in the states plus the shitty soap at the hotels will make it worse…
So, anyway, I set out to buy a travel size kit, but then…
It’s Mother’s Day sale… so I ended up with these…
It all conveniently fits into one little bag…

These are what’s inside…

I didn’t plan to buy the facewash thingy… but… it came as a set… with the lotion/creme..

Bought this for my mom.. I have no idea what it is…
P1000361
then… I need to spend just a little bit more.. to get these… umm.. more face things…

So… Mom picked out a lip balm…
the two little things on the left are samples
for members… Yes… I spent enought to become a member…

Here is the membership handbook…
you get free samples every month.. and…
some point system… to do what I don’t know…
I’m too lazy to read…

Havn’t been in NY for a while…
This time, it’s the standard 1 1/2 day stay in NYC.
Didn’t go into town this time.. too lazy…
Only walked around in Flushing… not very exciting…
after I came back to ANC, I got room 302. The room with the… whirlpool…. jacuzzi…. bubbly tub…
but…  a certain someone… soaked in it… let’s not name any names, but his initials are D.H.
Even though I’m not sure if it’s the same room… but I decided it’s safer to just shower…
Here are some pics…

Go Kart…
on a nice wednesday afternoon, Jay, Alan, Howard, Angela and I decided to go Karting in Nan-Kan.
But, SOMEONE didn’t do enough research to know that they had shut down the place for maintainance…
So, instead of racing on a tarmac, we were at the batting cage next door…
This was a day b4 the karing trip, at 今頂小吃… Very good spicy wonton and tantan noodles and excellent tofu~
